  17. by the way, lets all keep track of this business of auto-making a
  18. latex2e format in the web2c setup. Someone (Joel) is already working
  19. on configure scripts for latex2e to fold in to web2c, and Karl is in
  20. touch with him, so anyone else doing similar should keep Karl aware of
  21. what they are doing, or we'll all go mad(der).
